I had such a great experience from start to finish. Even though my tattoo was a fairly simple design, the artist, Mikel, really took the time to listen to what I was trying to decide on and helped me thoughtfully finalize it. He was intuitive, patient, and genuinely collaborative — I never felt rushed or dismissed. Beyond the technical skill, the whole session felt relaxed and comfortable. He was funny, kind, and very tuned in, which made a huge difference and turned what could have been a nerve-wracking appointment into a really positive experience. I absolutely love how the tattoo turned out and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly listens and cares about the process as much as the final result.

My friends and I wanted to get BFF tattoos. We reached out to Wanderlust as we were going to be in the Parksville area from Victoria. Tee was awesome to work with to get us a time that worked with our other plans and we booked in with Koop who is an apprentice artist. We sent our ideas up ahead of time and he was ready to go when we arrived. He was diligent in his hygiene between the three of us, cutting absolutely no corners at all. We all felt so safe and well taken care of the entire time. Not only does he do excellent work, he is the sweetest young man to spend a few hours with! The shop is beautiful and clean and felt very safe and welcoming. It would be a great place for a first tattoo for someone considering getting work done. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I will be back! The shop is so welcoming and the process to book a tattoo is much simpler than other shops. I appreciate the trust in the customer and the simplicity of process. I have had a tattoo with Aylin in the past, and recently with Mikel. Even though my tattoos were small styled requests, the attention to the tattoo was top notch. I received some great restaurant recommendations from Mikel for the Island and checked them all out! Great group, great shop, 5 Stars.

Best place EVER! Not only when we walked in was it welcoming and just an upbeat happy place it definitely felt like a family environment! Brandon made this experience absolutely spectacular, My mom and I went in to get matching mother daughter tattoos and I was quite nervous as it was my first ever and Brandon made it absolutely perfect.. made an absolutely beautiful piece to tattoo for us and made the experience fun, safe and most of all memorable! The honesty made me calm and the sensitivity he used towards my fear really made me appreciate the experience even more… Brandon is THE BEST! Will definitely be going back 💗 You guys are the best!

Had the loveliest time with Lauren getting a few gap fillers on a patchwork sleeve. I’ve been to her twice before and as per usual she absolutely nailed what I was looking for. The environment in the shop was welcoming and friendly, and I was offered refreshments and given the cutest little aftercare package I’ve ever seen. Will absolutely be back and am looking forward to booking with some of the other artists as well!

Amazing experience from the first time i walked into the shop. Lauren Carr was incredibly helpful with my design and captured what i was thinking perfectly. It's been a few days now and the tattoo is healing beautifully!

What an amazing and welcoming place this is! The artists here are beyond amazing at what they do, I always have full trust they can take my idea and turn it into something that's better than I could have ever imagined, I will always be coming back here when I have the chance, Wanderlust has made the tattooing experience for me as a client so much more relaxing and calming, if you're thinking about getting your first tat or you want to add something fresh I cant recommend this place enough they do everything they can to ensure the clients comfort and well being.
